Born in May of 1820, Florence Nightingale was born London and traveled to Istanbul, where she served in the Crimean War and back to England where she died at the age of 90. She touched many. In my recent travels to the WCET in Adelaide, Australia I found a very rare piece written about how Florence was called upon to help the hospital in Sydney where she sent her dear cousin and a team of nurses to facilitate a thorough clean-up of the house, patients, staff, sanitation issues, medical supplies and of course the politics. Lets do our research and plan for this event - May 2020 - celebration of her 200th Birthday.
Book Club Meetings specifically to research the Tenets of Florence Nightingale while planning a Magnet Redesignation based on those same tenets now 200 years later.
Share your ventures, adventures, mission work, birth place, opportunity to be educated and experience other cultures.
