designed to be offered every spring for nurses interested in the health, hope, and humor of conducting foot care. It is designed as a time to meet all of the needs that are requested through out the year and focus on a balance of work, pleasure, innovation, and networking. There is opportunity to learn about issues such as: designing a foot and nail care practice, and focusing on the multidisciplinary team approach to fitting for compression socks, shoes, orthotics, and other foot and nail care concerns such as accommodating severe deformities, promoting comfort and referring to other disciplines. Anybody who is either board certified in foot and nail care or board certified eligible is encouraged to attend. For 2010 – 20 CE’s – 15 hours didactic with field trips to specialty areas, 5 hours hands on feet at the Veterans Village of San Diego – 4.5 days Thursday – Sunday.
